I just wanted to give a quick update on my workout schedule. Going into the holidays, I was feeling a bit in a rut with my workout schedule. I was doing P90X2 or Insanity daily and just wasn’t feeling it.
I decided after the new year to jump back into a P90X2-Asylum hybrid schedule. So far, about three weeks into it I am loving it. I had forgotten how much “harder” the Asylum is that traditional Insanity. By harder, I mean just that I am far more tired, and burn more calories during a typical Asylum workout than an Insanity one.
My typical week looks like
Monday- X2 Chest Back and Balance (or Chest Shoulders and Tris)
Tuesday- Asylum Speed and Agility
Wednesday- X2 Shoulders and Arms (or V-Sculpt)
Thursday- Asylum Vertical Plyo
Friday- Asylum Strength
Saturday- X2 Yoga
For a rest week, I will do something like:
Monday- X2 Core
Tuesday- Asylum Relief
Wednesday- X2 Total Body
Thursday- Asylum Back to Core
Friday- X2- Balance and Power
Saturday X2 Yoga
I also recently switched over to the new Chocolate Shakeology formula, and am loving the change. I am not quite sure yet what I am going to do for a workout schedule once this round is over. I am thinking maybe Body Beast/Insanity, but we will see.
